SLASHING!

Sir is on sale! It’s that time of year, yes. Come by our Williamsburg location for reduced prices on incredibly comfortable boots Modern Vintage and Faryl Robin. Plus, our clothing—including some of that stock from our recently shuttered Atlantic Avenue location—is slashed 30-60% off regular prices. Sale ends February 22nd, so do the hustle!

THANKING!

It’s time to be serious for a moment, dear friend. After seven-plus years, Sir has bid Atlantic Avenue farewell (sniff sniff). Our boutique on this Brooklyn thoroughfare was the brand’s original location, and we’d like to thank everyone in the neighborhood of Cobble Hill and beyond for helping to make a girl’s—in this case, Joanna’s—dream of independent fashion in New York come true.

Having offered you news of closing, let us state for the record: We are by no means disappearing. In fact, we have gradually re-situated ourselves over the course of a year to a new Brooklyn location on Bedford Avenue near North 10th Street. We are bigger and badder than ever, with studio and boutique housed together, and an online shop also coming extremely soon.

So, please, sunshines: Don’t be a stranger. Come visit us on Bedford soon. And thanks for all the memories….

PRESSING!

Reader, the media world has been so kind to Sir these past few months! A fashion magazine called Vogue included our Custom Dressing by Sir service on their ”’what we really, really want’ holiday wish list” (above)! Plus, Daily Candy and Time Out included Sir in their holiday wishing, too.

But the kindness doesn’t end there: LXTV’s Jackie Tranchida came by the store, tried on outfits, and interviewed Joanna about the label for the “1st Look” weekend segment on NBC channels. The fun little newsletter ParisNewYork spotlighted our Williamsburg boutique. And New York magazine’s The Cut blog asked Joanna to write about her favorite collections from last Fashion Week.

As if all that wasn’t enough, remember our Fashion’s Night Out party with Lia Ices and Oh My Rockness? Well, check out ReadyMade’s coverage if you want a recap of les bons temps that rolled.

Big Sir ups to thoughtful members of the press like Florence, Lemeya, Amina, Heather, Molly, and Elizabeth. Merci buckets!

HITCHING!

Reader, did you know? Sir Bridal & Party has helped preserve the sanctity of the sisterhood shared between brides-to-be and their bridesmaids many times in the past. Girlfriends all across the country have remained girlfriends, with no more awkward conversations about impractical, overdone, costly dresses never to be worn again!

The Sir Bridal & Party Collection consists of a selection of dresses available in varying lengths and fabrics, and in over 100 different shades.

Our aim is to provide our clientele with perfect, unique, and timeless dresses that wear well—and multiple times over, beyond the ceremony. Think ideal “statement dresses” for the understated bride, the beach reveler, or the country-wedding dreamer. Think fitting that turns heads while keeping costs manageable.

Prices range from $350–1000. All in all, not a bad cost to pay for a perfect dress that keeps on giving—and friendships that last. Sniff, sniff.

REMINDING!

Sir is still looking for you on Facebook. Please become our fan. Sneak-preview merch as it arrives at our stores, view in-store exclusives, hear about one-off sales, and more.

PARTING!

Remember: Fashion Week is here. So a pose is a pose is a pose is a rose. Thank you.
